Doors

We have been making ledged and boarded assembled doors or for self-assembly since 1985 and they now grace homes from flats to manor houses throughout the U.K. They have been written about in local and national press and in many home improvement and period home magazines. Elegantly simple in their construction, they are purchased by professional and amateur alike.

The oak doors are offered assembled  or in kit form. You would save about £40 by assembling a door yourself.

We also offer a choice of either a Multi-Board or Wide Board Door.

Wide Board Doors:

Constructed with four* wide vertical oak boards for all doors over 686mm, these are 20mm thick

3 x 175mm x 27mm wide horizontal ledges

Filled and sanded ready for sealing on site.  We recommend Osmo Poly-X Oil.

Multi Board Doors:

Constructed with six* vertical English Oak boards for all doors over 838mm, these are 20mm thick

4 x 127mm x 27mm horizontal ledges

Filled and sanded ready for sealing on site.  We recommend Osmo Poly-X Oil.
